UNBOUND 2026 Agenda is LIVE! What to think about this year...

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, we're live. We've been live for like the last three or four weeks. Think we're streaming like for the last three or four weeks to YouTube. Good thing you told us now.

Chad Hohn:

No,

George B. Thomas:

I'm Just just YouTube. Well, it's fun because at some point I'm going to have to show you guys the process of like how we go live on YouTube and then how in seven to ten minutes that's a live article on our website. We were gonna put this process together. Anyway Love it. But then we wait for mister Noah to to edit the podcast and then release it.

George B. Thomas:

But you know what we don't wait for, guys?

Chad Hohn:

Oh, I know. I know.

George B. Thomas:

Do you live in a world filled with corporate We gotta get it out of the way.

Max Cohen:

There it is.

George B. Thomas:

There it is. Drink your coffee, ladies and gentlemen. Your chances for success. Are you held captive by the evil menace? Lord lack lack of time, lack Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Lack of time. Max Murray just talking about that.

Max Cohen:

I have lack of time.

George B. Thomas:

In your superhero tool belt. Knowledge. Never fear, HubHeroes. Get ready to don your cape and mask, move into action, and become the I don't wanna move. Organization needs.

George B. Thomas:

Tune in That takes too much effort. League of extraordinary inbound heroes as we help you educate, empower, and execute. Yeah.

Max Cohen:

Yeah. Get ready to execute.

George B. Thomas:

Get ready. We're gonna activate our powers because today we are talking about the UNBOUND 2026 Agenda. It's it's fun. I before I hit the go live button, was like, yeah, guys. And I can't wait to introduce you to our special guest to which both of you, by the way, you can't see it because it's your face, but you had almost like this deer in the headlight pseudo semi delightful, like, wait, what's happening?

George B. Thomas:

So before we get into it, let me go ahead and share my screen because what I did is I wanted to give my buddy, my pal, my assistant, the ability to weigh in to, if it was a human and could attend inbound, would it say? And so we literally had him do some deep UNBOUND 2026 Agenda Research Report. And then I just asked the question, based on the deep research, what are the topics, three sessions, if you could go to UNBOUND as an attendee, would you want to see? And so I love that it's, all right, I'm going to give you the real answer, not a fake one, guys. This is a real answer,

Max Cohen:

but not a safe one. This one's going to be spicy.

George B. Thomas:

Isn't that one interesting? It's not a safe one. If I'm walking into UNBOUND twenty twenty six as an attendee, I'm not chasing hype, which by the way, can I just stop there and be like, if you're a human and you're going to UNBOUND and you're chasing the hype of the title and not the information that you need to grow moving forward, you're doing yourself a disservice? The fact that my AI assistant is like, Yeah, I'm not chasing hype, bro. It's chasing signal, leverage and perspective shifts.

George B. Thomas:

Now I want you to think about that perspective shifts because it's all about mindsets. And when I went to UNBOUND 2012, INBOUND, by the way, 2012, I'm using it in the historical contents, so therefore I won't get a every time you say INBOUND, when we're talking about UNBOUND, we're going to get a little oopsie.

Chad Hohn:

Put it on there.

George B. Thomas:

There we go. The heart noise always works too. So here are three I would lock in immediately. The zero to 100,000,000 ARR playbook Gamma's growth journey. By the way, as a Gamma user, like, I'm super down to go to this session.

Max Cohen:

What's Gamma?

Chad Hohn:

Gamma? Gamma is a slide program. It's pretty dope.

George B. Thomas:

You serious right now?

Max Cohen:

Brother, I don't make slide decks. Okay.

George B. Thomas:

So no, no, no, no. So first of all, Chad just neutered it. I'm going to just say, or like,

Chad Hohn:

That's like at

George B. Thomas:

the highest possible level,

Chad Hohn:

if you want to give somebody ideas.

George B. Thomas:

Listen, Gamma. App is where you can go and create slide presentations. It creates social graphics. It's super dope to create like ebooks, guides, checklists in. Here's the thing.

George B. Thomas:

My agent Morgan has a Gamma skill where I can actually tell it via Cloud Code to go create a gamma PDF document. And so there's APIs and there's like normal humans can use it. Agents can use it. But Gamma, went

Chad Hohn:

to Right. Or is it just an MCP?

George B. Thomas:

Well, I do it through an API, not MCP or CLI and Gamma, though, as a human, you can go log in, you can build these things. Anyway, if you if you're just now hearing about Gamma, not you, Max, but the listeners of yours. Holy crap. Go check that out. But then also check this session out because I love this about the operator level.

George B. Thomas:

I love that, you know, Grant Lee didn't scale with a, with a bloated teeny scaled with clarity product and smart distribution. This thing went haywire, hog, like, I don't know what I'm trying to say. It just, wild. It was everywhere. Hog wild.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, it went everywhere. And so like learn team growth, create lead, you see that one. So second one, that if my agent could go as a human, what 1,000,000 plus responses reveal about showing up in answer engines. Of course, we went with a little AIAEO stuff, Aja Frost. All right.

George B. Thomas:

So how AI chooses what to cite, what visibility looks like now, how content actually gets surfaced in AI answers.

Max Cohen:

It just wants us to understand it.

George B. Thomas:

Just if you're not paying attention to this right now as a business, come on. Like, this is just, you've got to do that. Number three, by the way, do this, not that. Fastest lifts in content offers in AI, which again, email improvement, social tweaks, landing page upgrades, AI workflow boost. This is your immediate ROI session.

George B. Thomas:

If

Max Cohen:

you Oh, go that's to a Swaddleshin fan.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, it's a Swaddleshin fan. Isn't everybody? Isn't everybody? Jay's the bomb diggity dot com. Listen, if you go to UNBOUND 2026 and you're not getting ROI, you should just not go.

George B. Thomas:

I'm gonna like, again, Unbound team, I'm sorry. I don't mean that they shouldn't go, but they should go and get ROI without a doubt at the end of the day. Okay. So then I did one last thing and then we're going to go. I asked it, all right, let's, what are the top two in your mind around AI, sales, marketing, rev ops?

George B. Thomas:

Give me a list of your thoughts here, please. Keep the details short and sweet. AI, what 1,000,000 plus gamma again. Launch your first customer agent for high volume support. Can I just tell you, this is one that I'm going to mention because anyway, I'll mention it?

George B. Thomas:

But it's, but this talk about ROI and payoff. Oh my gosh. Like if you do it right, I love customer agent, by the way, the advancements that it has had over the last six months, to twelve months. Holy crap. Okay.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Sales HubSpot sales unfiltered. Check that out. Five ways to use HubSpot to drive best in class growth. Love it.

George B. Thomas:

Marketing, do this, not that. Again, Schweidleston, right? Community over ads growing without a marketing budget. Rev ops, right? Why Max, why do you say that's Who's

Max Cohen:

doing that one? Who's doing that one?

George B. Thomas:

Let's look that one up here. Let me go ahead and do this. I'm just going to copy Search this

Max Cohen:

it to

George B. Thomas:

and I'm going to control F control V community over ads.

Max Cohen:

I already

George B. Thomas:

did not see

Max Cohen:

a zillions and Susie.

George B. Thomas:

There we go. There we go.

Max Cohen:

Oh, she's from HubSpot.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Yeah.

Max Cohen:

Part of marketer at HubSpot. That's pretty tight.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah.

Max Cohen:

No. I just think I I think that's cool just because, like, it's, you know, like, I like that we're still talking about, you know, more grassroots stuff versus, like, only AI. You know what I mean? So whenever I see a session around that kind of stuff, it tickles me.

Chad Hohn:

Do you think it's interesting that your AI assistant chose less AI based topics?

George B. Thomas:

Well, so we'll we'll talk about that. We'll talk about that. The team is being very cautious of the amount of AI that is being presented at this conference so that it doesn't become an AI conference. At the very end of this, I may explain a little bit about what I mean by that from me personally.

Chad Hohn:

Sure.

George B. Thomas:

We'll wait till the end for that. But yes, it's Chad. Isn't isn't it interesting that these are more human human? Nope. I don't I don't I I don't I I what it sounds like with that.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. That that that didn't work. Let's let's try the let's try Awesome. That was Gollum.

Max Cohen:

That was how

George B. Thomas:

was Gollum on my god. My precious. Yeah. Okay. RevOps.

George B. Thomas:

Let's keep on. Revenue modeling one zero one, plan, predict, scale. Love that. Connect. Yeah, baby.

George B. Thomas:

Support success to drive growth. My honest take here's here's the fun thing. I didn't ask for the honest take, but it wants to not be safe and give me honesty, which is beautiful. Answer engine session, Aja Frost again and Gamma. So these are two like, it's bringing it up twice.

George B. Thomas:

These are two like must do items here. So spoiler alert, if you didn't know, UNBOUND 2026 Agenda is live. So I'm going to pause and I'm going to just ask Max or Chad before I dive into a couple of things. When you look at the UNBOUND 2026 Agenda, is there anything that jumps out to you or you are immediately like, interesting or oh.

Max Cohen:

Well, I mean, my I I can't not mention the fact that our cofounder, Daxithy

George B. Thomas:

Miller,

Max Cohen:

is is doing a session.

George B. Thomas:

I had his tab ready. I had his tab ready, by the way. Look at that.

Max Cohen:

Like, I got one this year.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Nice.

Max Cohen:

Yeah. Feeling known beats being targeted. Yeah. Yeah. Which is cool.

Max Cohen:

And I think it it it goes, you know, I I think it goes well in line with our whole thesis that we have ongoing super hard on events now. We are an events company. Right?

Chad Hohn:

Yeah.

Max Cohen:

But Lil Daxy is gonna be given a little a little seminar, if you will, on, you know, what it makes to or what how what's what it does to the human psyche about, you know, feeling known versus just, you know, appearing as someone on a list with some personalization tokens in an email.

George B. Thomas:

Nobody wants be targeted.

Max Cohen:

In a day where, you know Yeah. AI is all over us and

George B. Thomas:

Nobody wants to feel targeted. Right? Nobody wants to feel targeted. Here's the funny thing is I had that tab ready, guys, because I have this category that I call clever titles. And so there's like three or four of these that I'm going to pull up that were just to me, I pulled them out because the titles were clever.

George B. Thomas:

I liked what they did with it. This was one of them, right? This is a clever title. But like, here's the thing. Personalization has become overly technical and often fails to make customers feel truly under understood.

George B. Thomas:

Like what else do we want in life but to be understood? Tokens and automation increase output, but rarely create meaningful connection. What as humans, we want understood, connected. This session explores how memory, timing, and context. Can I just tell you how important those three things are in general?

George B. Thomas:

Anyway, I'm super excited about this one. Okay. Else? What else like stood out to you when you first saw this agenda or started to go through it?

Chad Hohn:

When I was looking through, one of the things I noticed was a session specifically on the rise of the in person GTM engine. Oh.

George B. Thomas:

Do you

Chad Hohn:

know the title? That's it. The rise of the in person GTM engine. Oh, I noticed that one really specifically because the company that I'm working at now is prime we're having a ton of success going to our larger deals at these health systems in person and making sure we're meeting with people and talking and explaining where a slide deck and a Zoom call doesn't always give you the same pizzazz. Right?

Chad Hohn:

You know, being there and being with people, you know, is is pretty, pretty been great. And I think that's I think people are seeing that a lot. And this is being able to, like, do your in person operations while plugged into your GTM tech stack, which I think is super cool.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. So Jared Webb, is that is that blink? Do you think that's how you say that is blink, but with a cute? Yeah. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Yep. Monk. So get what? What, Max?

Max Cohen:

I know. I just I just said it with a French accent.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, oh, oh, Blinky. The way, the way, how sexy is this just slide out panel? Like,

Max Cohen:

should

George B. Thomas:

I

Max Cohen:

thought you were going say Jared.

George B. Thomas:

I was like, I mean, yeah. At that shot.

Max Cohen:

Look at that.

George B. Thomas:

Let's blow that up. Let's get a big shot of Jared Webb. No looking dude. What I'm saying is like, notice when I open this up, it gave me the usual web experience where I go into a new tab and then I'm all circling around. But like this year, it's literally like, Nope, I'm back to the page.

George B. Thomas:

Or you see them saying like, it's just really cool how it opens up that side panel from kind of the all sessions section that you're in.

Max Cohen:

Yeah. Okay. They haven't opened up actual like signing up for them yet. Right.

George B. Thomas:

What do you mean signing

Max Cohen:

up for the campaign? Sign up. No, no, no,

George B. Thomas:

no, no.

Max Cohen:

There's no times. Right? So you can't really plan out what you can make.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, you can't tell me what's happening. You're just teasing us. They're like, yeah, and here's who you could see.

Max Cohen:

Real quick. One observation I made. Yeah. You if you if you control F command F the word SEO, nowhere to be found.

George B. Thomas:

Control F SEO. Oh, zero out of zero.

Max Cohen:

We're officially in the AEO land. Wait, maybe that's not true then because I don't think anything's showing up.

George B. Thomas:

Let's do this. SEO. No search results, but let's try AEO. A billion. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Here we go. Look at that. See interest is dead. Well, no, I'm not going to go there. I'm not saying I'm

Chad Hohn:

going to go different rapper.

George B. Thomas:

It 's the same stuff.

Max Cohen:

It's an SEO for search engines. It's literally the same thing. But now now people can charge you an arm and a leg for it because it has a different consonant or a vowel at the beginning. Oh, jeez. Yeah.

Max Cohen:

Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

A different letter. Okay. So think again if there's some other stuff that, like, kind of got you going about the agenda. I want to pull a couple of things in here. One, let's go back to titles that I found very interesting.

George B. Thomas:

How I turned a CEO into a thought leader. I love this title, by the way, because for years we've talked about like, man, you've got to be you've got to build a brand. You've got to have something that you're a value to the world. And so this idea of being able to sit back and see the making of a thought leader or the creation of the content that creates a thought leader. And I think I like that because it's reminiscent of the journey that I've kind of been on over the past ten, eleven, twelve years of like, and now I'm finally a CEO, by the way, was doing it before being a CEO, but I don't call myself a CEO, but owner of an organization.

George B. Thomas:

I like this because I think if you're in the top portion of an organization and you're not thinking about how do you do this moving forward, you're in trouble.

Max Cohen:

I also feel like this this is probably going be helpful too for folks that are even just trying to turn the run of the mill individual contributor that's got a lot of good thoughts about content. Right? You know? And then getting the know, like, you don't have to start with the CEO, I don't think. Right?

Max Cohen:

And No. I'm sure there's some interesting stuff that you can learn from this when you're, you know, trying to figure out who it is at your company that can contribute to the content engine in one way or another.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. I think anybody. Right? Because look at the tags, brand and creative, content and storytelling, demand and growth. Like Mhmm.

Chad Hohn:

There's no be a CEO to show up.

George B. Thomas:

Yep. Yeah, yeah, yeah. All right. Here's another one, which, by the way, this one, remember, this is the crafty titles. So historically, I would do something where it's like, you know, it starts with an A or it starts with a number was the thing that I always did.

George B. Thomas:

Because then it was like first on the agenda. This to me very much feels like a crafty title, but it's a hack. They're hacking the system, meaning use all the words, use all the words, build your loop marketing campaign with AI. Okay, cool. By the way, Aaron's going to do this.

George B. Thomas:

In this Academy Lab, you'll use Breeze. This is what got my attention. Not ChatGPT, not Claude, not Perplexing. In this Academy Lab, you'll use Breeze to generate a campaign brief, develop a compelling hero offer and remix AEO optimized content across channels. If you're listening to this or watching this and you're like, yeah, Breeze might grow up someday.

George B. Thomas:

You might want to go to this session because it feels like Breeze has grown up. Like,

Max Cohen:

do they do the Academy Lab sessions? Is it like they got like tables and you whip out your computer and follow along?

Chad Hohn:

You just do it.

Max Cohen:

You're just sitting in

Chad Hohn:

a, you know, knee table technology. Table?

George B. Thomas:

Oh. Yeah. They get a room table.

Max Cohen:

They? Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

They get

Chad Hohn:

Well, I remember there was one that was they were doing AI agents last year at inbound, and because it wasn't unbound yet. George, don't buzzer me. Thank you.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, I was I was getting I was was ready. I was like, who does he deserve a but we won't give it to you. We won't give it to Thanks. Yeah. Thanks.

George B. Thomas:

Thanks. Good good thinking.

Chad Hohn:

Anyway, with yeah. It was like build a it was like agent.ai. So the thing that, you know, Darmesh put out a few years ago, like, right at the beginning of AI agents when they were really starting to take off and, like, he's getting ahead of the curve. Anyway, you were, like, in there, log in to agent.ai, build an agent together, but it was, like, laptop knee table technology. Now this might be different because it's labeled a lab, but that's how that particular session was, and it was intended to be interactive.

George B. Thomas:

Very cool. Very cool.

Max Cohen:

I got one that looks sick.

George B. Thomas:

All right. Give me one second. I'm going to go to you right after this one because if I forget to do this, I'm going to be mad at myself. I've got to pull this next one up. This is not necessarily a although it is a crafty title because I like the idea of running loops, but this is more of a, I just got to give a shout out, kind of like you did with Dax.

George B. Thomas:

A Marketer's Guide to AI Era Growth. My boy, Mr. Remington Biggs. Right, man. From Impulse Creative.

George B. Thomas:

And I looked at this and I'm like, Dang! Hubspot product? Hubspot Academy? Remington bag? Listen, I kid you not.

George B. Thomas:

Hell or high water. I will be in this room at whatever time this is, unless I'm speaking, but wait, I'm not on the agenda. Anyway, Max, what one did you see that you

Max Cohen:

wanted Hit a to quick talk Google. A quick search real quick. Hit a quick search.

George B. Thomas:

Let me go back to all sessions. Let me go back to agenda. And then what am I searching?

Max Cohen:

The decision engine.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, let's just do engine. That would be easier. And hopefully that that brings it up. You said the decision engine?

Max Cohen:

I can spell it for you. The DECIS. I.

George B. Thomas:

There we go. There we go. Yeah. Right. Which by this one.

George B. Thomas:

By the way, I have my whisper flow on. I should have just said it and it literally would have like, I don't know why I'm typing during this episode. I don't type anymore.

Max Cohen:

Anyway, typing

George B. Thomas:

is so

Max Cohen:

last year.

George B. Thomas:

Last year, so inbound, dude, you know, you are on board. Yeah,

Max Cohen:

I'm bound by my keyboard.

George B. Thomas:

Unbounding my keyboard needs. So, Max, why why did you hit this one?

Max Cohen:

I get stoked about any sessions that I see that have two speakers that make awesome content, awesome tactical HubSpot content on LinkedIn. And we've got two legends from Babble Quest here, Hannah and Chris. Yeah. Doing a little session on the d three decision framework. Discover, decode, and decide to transform HubSpot into a true decision engine.

Max Cohen:

This looks sick.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. So,

Max Cohen:

yeah, I'm stoked for this one even though I'll most likely be at the booth having a conversation over and over. But, anyway

Chad Hohn:

saw you

George B. Thomas:

on LinkedIn.

Chad Hohn:

This dude, I was dying.

Max Cohen:

Who's available is gonna get a lot of value out of this. This looks

George B. Thomas:

It's funny. When I saw Max's post about them, by the way, here's my agenda. It was

Chad Hohn:

like, that's literally four solid days.

George B. Thomas:

I'm reading it and I'm laughing, but at the same time I'm laughing, my brain is like, Oh,

Chad Hohn:

yeah, it feels bad, man.

George B. Thomas:

Dang, look on it, brother. Listen, I just want to bring

Max Cohen:

that up. Have a blast and put on an absolute clinic there. There you go. Oh, yeah.

George B. Thomas:

I feel like we should just pay like Hannah and Chris a little extra money, you know, more than zero to actually go to the booth and just give the presentation to Max at Yeah, the amazing.

Max Cohen:

Would be amazing.

George B. Thomas:

I like this too because guys tell me how hard it is actually in today's times on this podcast, literally SEO's dead. Decisions. Decisions are difficult right now. Like and I'm not just talking about marketing and I'm talking maybe like life in general right now. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

So the fact that they were talking about decision engine and your business and HubSpot and, you know, all of those things, I think that's awesome.

Max Cohen:

Thing the other thing that I think is, like, really interesting about this is, like, you know, a lot of the time, the natural, you know, vibe that I think a lot of people get when they're thinking about their CRM is they go, oh, that's just a place where I go to leave notes to prove to people that I'm, like, doing my job, right, versus something that actively helps you. Right? So,

George B. Thomas:

like Yeah.

Max Cohen:

I'm all for any sort of sessions that can encourage and teach people and get them to think about ways of, like, how do I make HubSpot an actual, like, asset for people, right, where they can't do their job without it or, you know, when they go in there, there is a certain type of value they can pull from it that they can't just, you know, manifest elsewhere. Right. And, you know, I think this is a this is a good way to do that. Like you put information into the machine, it gives you a decision back. It helps you progress your day forward or your relationships with your customers in a way that's meaningful.

Max Cohen:

That's cool.

George B. Thomas:

Right? Yeah. Know, I hear anytime I hear that's just our CRM. I just want to pull my hair out. I'm just saying like, come on, Chad, before I throw another one up, anything else that kind of hits your fancy?

Chad Hohn:

Well, I mean, two things. I always go see Kyle's sessions because they're just so fun and engaging. Like, who doesn't love to see Kyle's sessions? But if you don't know about them, go see Kyle Jepsen sessions. They're great.

George B. Thomas:

Which, by the way, I love that you mentioned sessions because if. He's got four. Like if you if you scroll through here, actually, can we just do speakers? You can look for speakers. Jepsen.

Chad Hohn:

That doesn't work on the sessions.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, it does.

Chad Hohn:

Oh, yeah. Does.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, did it? Oh, yeah. Yeah. Yeah. See, like, we got to we got to talk to our boy, Kyle, because he's he's going to have

Max Cohen:

to see

George B. Thomas:

you in four that he's going to have to plan for bro. He's going to have to play some milk. No, he's going to need a nap or naps. Like there's little dude. So as somebody and again, I say this humbly as somebody who has spoken, I think last year was like five or six times with the different things that I was doing like this right here, because this is like if you look at the sessions, can I open these?

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Yeah. Open link in new tab. Yes. Open link in new tab.

George B. Thomas:

Open link in new tab. George, do you have you

Chad Hohn:

have a mouse with a wheel?

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, but I never use it.

Chad Hohn:

Okay. Just click the wheel in the middle and it'll open in a new tab.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, what? Hold on.

Chad Hohn:

Yeah. Over. Like, click. Hang on. Click the wheel.

George B. Thomas:

Hang on. Click the wheel. Oh my God. It did. Okay.

George B. Thomas:

Now I'll forever do that. See, here's what here's what's frustrating. I don't know if this is like an hour session, a ninety. I want to know immediately how many of these are like ninety minute sessions, sixty minute, forty five minute sessions. But dude is everywhere.

George B. Thomas:

So like,

Chad Hohn:

yeah, bro's going to be busy.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, he'll he'll be busy. See him at the beginning or probably don't see him at all. Just going to throw that out there. Okay, here's another one that I want to throw out there because I was like, Oh, this looks really good. And again, by the way, they all look really good.

George B. Thomas:

But Vibe by Design, stop blaming the format. And Max, I even started to kind of think about you. And I started to think about how Psychic Strategies has been doing events now as far as like webinars and different things like that, which has been fun ever since we relaunched the website. But in event engagement, problems are often blamed on format or platform. But the real issue is usually poor design.

George B. Thomas:

This session introduces the concept of an engagement arc that you had me right there. You had me at Yeah. An engagement A structured emotional. Oh, God, help me. I might need a minute journey that can improve experiences across in person, virtual and hybrid events.

George B. Thomas:

This right here, that line, I'm like, please do not be where or when I speak. Anyway, just, I don't know. I don't know. So like, this is Don't wanna compete with that one.

Max Cohen:

Yeah. This looks great.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. I don't want to. I don't want to. Alright. What else, gentlemen?

George B. Thomas:

I've got a couple more, but anything else like popping out at you?

Chad Hohn:

There was one that I saw that was it was regarding HubSpot being your single source of truth, something like Did

George B. Thomas:

it use the word single source of truth?

Chad Hohn:

It was in the description. Yeah. But I was curious to Do we know who did that? I don't remember, but I was looking at it. It's in here somewhere.

Chad Hohn:

Oh, yes. It's HubSpot into turn HubSpot into a system of record across your stack.

George B. Thomas:

Oop. Turn HubSpot. And then the

Chad Hohn:

description into a system of record.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Turn HubSpot into a system of record across your stack.

Chad Hohn:

Because I'm curious as like, I don't always need I think I don't always need HubSpot to, like, have the source of truth, but it should be able to access it if you need it from a CRM perspective. Like if it has to do with the customer, you should be able to find it in HubSpot. Now that doesn't mean that it's not the source of truth isn't your engineering database for your product or whatever, and especially data studio. So I'm just curious on their take, to be honest, to see if there's stuff that they have, especially with data studio being out, then would allow me to like run faster and do more with less to get things into some sort of like a mechanism that has all that data consistency.

George B. Thomas:

I love this line right here. Explore how to bring insights into your workflows, improve data consistency and build a scalable ecosystem that supports better decision making. Oh my gosh, is this the year of like decisions and decision making? Yeah. Like, that'd be interesting.

George B. Thomas:

I wonder if I doubt if this would be in the search, but can you imagine if you tried to go to the agenda, it might not have a hello navigation. It's like, you've been on all the pages, you're done. Can I go back to the agenda please? I'd love to know if like you typed in decision, right? So DEC.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, interesting. So I wonder if in all of these, I'm not going to hit the middle mouse button on all of these, by the way, or right click them. I wonder if in all of these, word decision or decision maker or well, it's probably like it could be decimal or whatever anyway. But still that's anyway, curious if you're bored and you want to tell us how many actually hang on. Hang on.

George B. Thomas:

Time for our guests to come back. Let's do this. Let's do this. Hey, in all of these session titles or session descriptions, can you tell me how many times the word decision or decision making shows up? I have no idea if this is going to work, guys, but we did that deep research for a reason.

George B. Thomas:

So let's see. Oh, no. No. No. You're kicked off the show.

George B. Thomas:

You're no longer allowed back here. Get out of here. Okay. I'm going bring another one up. I'm going to bring another one up.

George B. Thomas:

Launch your first customer agent for high vol. I told you this was one we mentioned it earlier. First of all, if you haven't seen the women of HubSpot interview that I did with Brenna, you got to go check that out. Just search psychicstrategies.com/brenna and you'll you'll find it. A dope human.

George B. Thomas:

Dope human. By the way, all of the women of HubSpot interviews we did, dope humans. Like some of the stories are just redonkulous. But I am again excited. Learn how to set up and activate Breeze customer agent to handle comments, which by the way, it'll handle more than just common, but handle common support.

George B. Thomas:

You guys know, by the way, that I fired my clone and now this the customer agent is now the George B. Thomas clone? Did you guys know I made that switch?

Chad Hohn:

No. Yeah. So you're using HubSpot's customer agent. Now that was your Delphi Klein. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, I fired Delphi. No hate, by the way. Delphi is awesome. But I was like, customer agent has gotten good enough and I want to use a single source and I'm trying to like bring in the tech stack. Like, yeah, I'm literally on a path of like, should projects be my ClickUp?

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Do I need my meeting notetaker? Because HubSpot can be my meeting notetaker. Like I'm testing all these things of how do I contract my tech stack? And so I was like, you know what?

George B. Thomas:

Customer agent's good enough now. And and I love the idea of tying it into like, didn't know the answer so I can create a piece of content around it. So anyway, so more than just common support questions, no code required. And we connected it to email and to phone. Anyway, I digress.

George B. Thomas:

Train it using existing knowledge based articles, website content, and more test responses with pre built questions and configure smart handoffs for complex issues. So from common to complex, this could be something that you might really want to pay attention to. Okay, what's another one? We're running out of time, but if we were like, had all the time in the world, what's maybe another one or

Max Cohen:

that I thought you might find interesting. Here we go. The fandom playbook. Search fandom.

George B. Thomas:

Fandom playbook. Fandom. Okay. Hopefully it just works at fandom or fan. Oh yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Watch this. I'm gonna. There we go. Center by.

George B. Thomas:

All right.

Chad Hohn:

It's really nice.

Max Cohen:

There you go.

George B. Thomas:

Come on. Okay. The fan of playbook create a passion for fans to grow. Oh, so.

Max Cohen:

I think you like making fans, George.

George B. Thomas:

I love making fans, but also can I just tell you, like, I love David Mehrman Scott? The journey that he's been on since like the very beginnings of INBOUND and obviously him and Brian and the book and all of that. But like, I've had a chance to also meet him several times and like, conversate. And he's just like, again, for me, it's a lot about let's let me make sure I have right. It's about there we go.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. So in a crowded and increasingly noisy market, guys, do you think it's noisy out there?

Max Cohen:

It's a bit noisy. It's a bit loud.

George B. Thomas:

Oh my God. Noise and nonsense. Can it just be gone? Real growth comes from building devoted supporters. You mean, if you actually add value to humans and then those humans like you and support what you do, you can be successful.

George B. Thomas:

Oh my God. Wild concept. Accumulating customers or not, not. I don't want to skip that word. Just accumulating.

George B. Thomas:

You mean just don't grow a list for list sake? Oh, yeah. This is another one. Yeah. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Okay. That was I got.

Max Cohen:

Wait, wait,

George B. Thomas:

I got one. Hang on. Hang on. No, I got another one because I'm going to we still got time. I'm to give you and Chad another, but I have to mention I have to mention this one.

George B. Thomas:

Seven HubSpot workflow upgrades you can implement today because my dude, Ben. Oh, Ben. Ben I'm is doing just excited to see Ben hit the stage to be able to talk about HubSpot workflow upgrades. And here's the funny many teams rely on manual workarounds. Yo, not today, ladies and gentlemen, come on.

George B. Thomas:

Like that's the look, slow down performance and create inefficiencies. You know, ain't nobody got time for that. No. Ain't nobody got time for that. In this session, you'll explore practical workflow upgrades that extend what's possible in HubSpot without adding unnecessary complexity.

George B. Thomas:

You mean somebody's going to get on stage and teach how to do workflows in a simplified way? Oh,

Max Cohen:

wow. Pretty sick.

George B. Thomas:

Can can I just say one thing about that? Oh, Come on.

Max Cohen:

We're big fans.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, we're

Max Cohen:

big fans. Ben, congratulations. Routing and enrichment data cleanups. I mean, these sound like some pretty complex topics too around workflow automation.

Chad Hohn:

Routing is never easy for people, like especially if you want your routing to be scalable. Right?

Max Cohen:

Yeah.

Chad Hohn:

Like, reps come, reps leave, automagically reorg the ownership and territories, you know Use the word. Stuff like that. Sorry. I stole that from you. People think it's mine at my work, but I tell them it's yours.

George B. Thomas:

I've really had people tell me that they that you tell them that you stole it, like, which is funny.

Chad Hohn:

All right. I just don't want to be a thief, George.

George B. Thomas:

No, I'm talking. Even if you did, I wouldn't care, brother. Like, I should have trademarked that crap years ago, though.

Chad Hohn:

Should have. You'd be. Yeah. You get a lot of nickels. I'm telling for me,

George B. Thomas:

I'm telling the word build trust. Build trust. Uh-huh.

Chad Hohn:

Yeah. Then I got one after this.

George B. Thomas:

So which one of the

Max Cohen:

real storytelling? Which one? Skeptical world. Yeah, the second one. Look at that.

George B. Thomas:

Look, I see center scroll wheel again. Okay. Build trust through storytelling in skeptical world.

Max Cohen:

I think it's fair to say we're living in a pretty skeptical world. Right? Know about that. If you thought false advertising was a problem before, and now we

George B. Thomas:

got the

Max Cohen:

bro. Wait, wait, wait. Can we bro?

George B. Thomas:

I gotta tell you a story. Hang on. Hang on.

Max Cohen:

Hold on.

George B. Thomas:

I gotta tell you a story. I was watching this video and I was like, is it and it was an ad. And I was like, is it real? Yeah. Is it fake?

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. Yeah. Is it real? Is it fake? Which by the way, as soon as I do that, you know that I'm not paying attention to any of the words that are happening because my brain's going real, fake?

George B. Thomas:

And then all a sudden I get about forty five seconds into it and a thing that the guy was holding goes through his face and like half his face disappears and then shows back up. I'm like, where was the QA for that? Yeah, I see that before you put it out on the Internet. Yeah.

Chad Hohn:

Like, that's because somebody just slept it

George B. Thomas:

out. By the way, I was like, oh, AI click. Yeah. Just saying.

Max Cohen:

First of all, on on on this topic, I think it's all very important, to to learn a thing or two about how you can navigate this world where it's just a ton of misinformation in general. But, like, when it comes to selling stuff.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, my god.

Max Cohen:

Dude, I I I'm on TikTok a lot, obviously. Right? And, like, you if you've spent any time on TikTok, you've learned that it's quickly become like the, I don't know, the Uber Eats version of QVC. Right? Where everyone's on there, like, you know, slinging stuff for

George B. Thomas:

Buy my number two

Max Cohen:

pencils. Exactly.

Chad Hohn:

Right. Buy my Timu drops.

Max Cohen:

Dude, AI video is now becoming the most predatory dangerous stuff on there because of that. There's this, like, really good example that I've seen that, like, just it makes my skin crawl thinking about it where this is like

George B. Thomas:

an example of a bad example. Is that

Max Cohen:

what you're saying? Example of just, like, you know, false advertising gone in the complete extreme. Right? Where there's this there's this, like, steam gun that people are selling. Careful.

George B. Thomas:

Don't get these canceled.

Max Cohen:

Oh, she taught steam to, like, clean stuff. Oh, yeah. Like, clean grease off your whatever.

George B. Thomas:

Oh, yeah. Yeah.

Max Cohen:

Yeah. Like, there are these videos that look next to real. Like, you'd look at them and be like, oh, yeah. It looks completely real until you see this steam gun take a disgusting, completely caked up grill. Think about what your grill looks like after having it for a couple years.

Max Cohen:

And then they spray it with this, like, gun, and it looks real, but, like, you can tell it's fake just because there's no way it would ever work that well. Right? They they literally turn it into, like, shiny stainless steel. And I'm like, dude, there are people looking at this shit falling for it. You know what I mean?

Max Cohen:

It's just like It's brutal. Dude, it's it's the worst possible that can happen

George B. Thomas:

for gets his free steamer and tells us how good it did on his grill. Yeah.

Max Cohen:

I'm not, dude. And it's just it's people are gonna see that they're gonna start to get hip to it and maybe, hopefully. Yeah.

George B. Thomas:

Like, I

Max Cohen:

don't know. But, like, you know, there's just when I'm going and buying stuff on I think, honestly, like, when I'm almost interacting with any business now, just because I've been burned so many times, like, I always just assume that they're trying to screw me on the other end. Yeah. You know what I mean? And, like, you know, I I'm thinking, like, a lot of people probably are a little bit more in tune with that these days.

Max Cohen:

And, you know, your your buyers are going to be very naturally skeptical. Alright? And so, you know, anything that is around building trust and all that kind of stuff, I think it's probably worth your time when already. You're

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. No. Sorry. Chad, is there one last one or should we just close it here, my friend?

Chad Hohn:

Well, I felt like an interesting take was that there's a what's new in sales, but there's also a what's new for sellers.

George B. Thomas:

Oh.

Chad Hohn:

So I felt like the what's new for sellers seems pretty cool. Right? Did it the

George B. Thomas:

old way. Dangling it. Gotta build up

Chad Hohn:

that muscle memory.

Max Cohen:

Time ago.

Chad Hohn:

But anyway, I thought that would be interesting. Right? Because just in general, the a lot of this is geared towards admins, but some sellers show up, some people who use the tool day to day who don't care about the config and probably don't have the permissions. I love that there's some more things showing up for, you know, the actual end users of the experiences you're building inside HubSpot.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah. What what are they doing? Kyle had four, Megan's got three. Man, they're putting

Max Cohen:

these folks to the ringer.

George B. Thomas:

You're like, Woah, you're, if you're going, you're working,

Max Cohen:

get ready to do some reps. You're in.

George B. Thomas:

What's new for marketers? What's new for sellers? What's new for server? Yeah, this this one right here. I'm oh, interesting.

George B. Thomas:

Commerce Hub, Sales Hub and Smart CRM.

Max Cohen:

Commerce Hub is going to have a big show.

Chad Hohn:

Oh, dude. I mean, modules is cool. They got some cool stuff.

George B. Thomas:

Yeah, we're going to we're going to have to talk about that. We're going to have to talk about Commerce Hub again on a maybe I can get Jack to come back. He's been on like three. We got some more, too, but like, I mean, like new stuff. Either him or Ethan or him and Ethan maybe.

George B. Thomas:

Anyway,

Max Cohen:

I'll them

George B. Thomas:

all. See all. Get them all. The whole team. The whole team.

George B. Thomas:

The roundtable. Commerce Hub roundtable. Awesome. Alright. Listen, we're out of time.

George B. Thomas:

But you know what? You still have time, ladies and gentlemen. I'm sure there are more things coming to the agenda. I'm sure there will be a round two, round three coming. By the way, I alluded to this.

George B. Thomas:

If you go search the agenda right now for George B. Thomas, I am not on the agenda. I'm not saying it will always be that way, but I can also tell you that I submitted an AI talk and they already had enough AI talks. So now we're in talks now we're in talks of what talk that we might actually launch out to the world. So I'm excited to see how that journey goes.

George B. Thomas:

But that also means there are other humans who will be being added to this agenda. You don't have to set it yet, but you should start thinking much like our assistant was thinking if it was a human and you are, what it would do when it said inbound. Gentlemen, enjoy, have a great week. And remember folks, make sure you're being a happy, helpful, humble human and doing some happy HubSpotting along the way.
